Food is important for young people who are actively using their bodies and minds. At Avalon College we provide three nutritious meals seven days a week. Students can also help themselves to fruit and bread at any time. Our chef will make morning tea two days per week for our students. Our menu includes Asian and Western dishes and rotates on a four week basis so that there is plenty of variety.

Each weekend students are taken to a local supermarket so that they can buy 'tuck' (this is optional). Tuck is a boarding house word for snack food. Students keep their tuck in their tuck lockers or in the student fridges.
